This week we start a computer club at a school. We have provided the curriculum based on our knowledge of the students. It will be run by an IT teacher from the school. The normal classes are Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Our intention is to broaden their knowledge and raise their interest in IT. From there we can encourage them to follow the IT path. There is plenty of education available in Phnom Penh, but first we need to get their interest.
From some sessions with the students their knowledge of web-searching and analysing results is lacking. Also use of email and understanding of Social Media. We aim to change that.
